The sixth edition of the KROKODOKODIL<\/strong> festival was held\u00a0 on October 12 2018, with its\u00a0 central theatrical event at the Dadov\u00a0 Youth Theatre, and lasted until the end of June 2019.\u00a0 The theatrical play, IN SOMEONE ELSE\u2019S SNEAKERS, was written by Jasminka Petrovic, a renowned contemporary Serbian writer for children and youth. The director of the play was\u00a0 Vladan Djurkovic, and it was\u00a0 performed by the playing company of Dadov.<\/p>\n

In the forthcoming months, the play (in the form of workshops) will visit many towns in\u00a0 Serbia, to present its exciting and extraordinary world in order to entertain, educate and engage children from far-away places, namely under-developed and suburban areas of larger cities, the places which lack contact with contemporary cultural and literary themes.<\/p>\n

The name of this year\u2019s festival evoked\u00a0 its subject \u2013 respect towards diversity. The aim of the festival was to question and shine light on the relationship the environment has to the children who are somehow different from\u00a0 the others.
