He finished the Naval school and he studied Croatistics in Rijeka. Since 1993, he lives in Oslo, where he finished the Faculty of History and Philosophy and received a magisterium in South Slavic literature. He edited and translated tan anthology of Norwegian short stories <em>Veliki pusti krajolik<\/em> (Big Barren Landscape). He is the author of a study <em>Modernizam u romanu Isu\u0161ena kalju\u017ea Janka Poli\u0107a Kamova <\/em>(Modernism in the Novel <em>Reclaimed Quagmires<\/em> by Janko Poli\u0107 Kamov), a book of short stories <em>Fasung<\/em> (2002) and a novel <em>Nigdje, niotkuda <\/em>(Nowhere, from nowhere, 2008), for which he received the award \u201cMe\u0161a Selimovi\u0107\u201d for the best novel from Croatia, Serbia, BiH and Montenegro. Recently he published his latest novel <em>Ljep\u0161i kraj <\/em>(More Beautiful Ending).
