He is the 65th foreign author who stays in KROKODIL\u2019s residency for writers in Belgrade. On March 21 at 8PM at Cultural Center of Belgrade (Kulturni centar Beograda) he will present his poetry to the audience during the festival Svetski dan(i) poezije (Worlds day(s) of poetry) and within the program section called SLU\u0160ANJE POEZIJE (Listen to poetry).<\/h3>\n<p>LISANDRI KOLA is author, researcher and also translator. Kola teaches at the University of Tirana, Faculty of History and Philology (Department of Literature) \u2018Albanian Modern Literature\u2019 and \u2018The History of Sonnet\u2019. In the same time at the Department of Journalism he teaches \u2018Translation Theories\u2019. From 2014 he holds a PhD in Literary Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>When he was 20 years old, in 2006. his first book was pubished, collection of poetries titled \u2018Melody of Harp\u2019. Two years later he published another poetry collection \u2018Eyeless Rabbi\u2019. In this year (2008) he won the First Prize as the best new novelist, accorded from Robert Schwartz Foundation (Tirana). Kola published several poetry collections and translations until his first novel \u2018Saga of a Day\u2019 (2011) was publised. During these years he has writen several scientific articles and a monographies such as \u2018The Fishtean Satire in Epic\u2019, which was his Master Thesis too.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-15515 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Reading-Balkans-logo-150f8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some of his poetries were translated into Croatian and English. In December 2008. Milutin \u00d0uri\u010dkovi\u0107 published an article titled \u2018Traganje za smislom postajanja, O zbirci poezije Slepi rabin\u2019 within the University\u2019s magazin in Sebia. His poetries in 2014 were honoured with the National Prize \u2018At Zef Pllumi\u2019 (1st prize in poetry). For the collection of poems \u2018Butterflies die on May\u2019 he was awarded for the innovation in literary field, metaphysic verses and unique theme.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017 in collaboration with Aristea Kola he founded the Annual Critic Magazine \u2018K\u00eans\u2019 (online).<\/p>\n<p><em>Lisandri\u2019s stay is being realized within the project <a href=\"http:\/\/www.readingbalkans.eu\/\">READING BALKANS.\u00a0<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Reading the Balkans<\/em><\/strong><em> is a project aimed at promoting literature from the Western Balkans through education and the formation of a literary agent who will represent regional writers on the international scene.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>KROKODIL\u2019s Writer-in-residence<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Through development of stable relations with partners in the country, region and abroad, with regard to similar and very popular programs of European metropolis, the Association KROKODIL has established the first continuous residence program for writers in Serbia \u2013 KROKODIL\u2019s Writer-in-residence.
