The network\nof literary residencies has now been extended to five European countries. The\nproject and its residency network are designed primarily for young writers\n(prose and\/or poetry) and literary translators. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nliterary residency programme will take place on the island Mljet (Croatia), in\nLjubljana (Slovenia), in Larissa (Greece), in Belgrade (Serbia) and several\nlocations in Wales (UK). The residency programme focuses on transnational\nmobility and audience development, and will allow young authors and translators\nto work, perform and present themselves in two different social and cultural\ncontexts. The residencies can bring new opportunities and possibilities to establish\ncontact with other authors, translators, editors, publishers and\/or\nrepresentatives of various literary organisations from Croatia, Slovenia,\nSerbia, UK, and Greece. The residencies will be accompanied by a rich\nsupporting programme consisting of literature-related activities aimed at\nspecific (local) target groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nthematic subject of the first year of the Ulysses&#8217; Shelter 2 project concerning\nall the residents chosen in this call is <strong>Library<\/strong> &#8211; both as a physical\nspace and a virtual database of important and relevant data for any social,\ncultural or artistic context.
