Historians against revisionism\u201d project, held in June of last year, which announced the Declaration \u201cDefend history\u201d, we are continuing the discussion on historical revisionism in the territory of former Yugoslavia and the abuse of history for political purposes.<br>On Friday, March 12th 2021 at 7pm, in the Grand hall of Novinarski dom in Zagreb, Ida Prester, Miljenko Jergovi\u0107, Dana Budisavljevi\u0107 and Goran Vojnovi\u0107 will talk about the Declaration \u201cDefend history\u201d, as well as the relationship we need to nurture with the past on a regional level. The discussion will be moderated by historian Tvrtko Jakovina, while prominent regional historians Dubravka Stojanovi\u0107, Magdalena Najbar-Agi\u010di\u0107, Husnija Kamberovi\u0107, Damir Agi\u010di\u0107 and others, will join in on the conversation from the audience. During this event, as well as in the campaign that follows , we want to hear the voices of those who are not only historians, from all regions of ex-Yugoslavia, and in that name we are inviting as many people as we can to sign the \u201cDefend history\u201d declaration.<br>After the \u201cLanguages and Nationalisms\u201d project, which discussed complex problems of reality that exists within four political languages in our region, and after its grand finale \u2013 The Declaration of the Common Language, on which 30 linguistics and other experts worked, and which was signed by about ten thousand people from the region of the Western Balkans, the KROKODIL Association has been working on the project entitled \u201cWho started it? Historians against revisionism\u201d since 2018. During this two year long project, we organized two big conferences in Belgrade and Novi Sad, two-week residential programs for historians from this regions, seminars for teachers and history professors in Subotica, Novi Pazar, Leskovac and Belgrade, as well as three summer schools for students coming from the territory of former Yugoslavia.<br>The \u201cWho started it? Historians against revisionism\u201d project, gathered some of the most prominent historians from the region with the goal of actively fighting against revisionist tendencies in national historiographies, for one possible common multi perspective historical science.<br>The event is supported by the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
