He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, the Department of Comparative Literature. He is the author of numerous short stories and essays that have been published in the magazines Rez, Poezija, Rukopisi, Glasilo CK13 and Liceulice, as well as on the masina.rs portal since 2012. Since 2014, he has been teaching creative writing to young people. His first collection of poetry, <em>Sveti magnet<\/em>, was published in 2016 by the publishing house Tre\u0107i trg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/capture-20210323-114817.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16692\" width=\"219\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/capture-20210323-114817.png 340w, https:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/capture-20210323-114817-200x300.png 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 219px) 100vw, 219px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Katarina Mitrovi\u0107<\/strong> (1991) was born in Belgrade and grew up in Obrenovac. She studied Serbian language and literature at the Faculty of Philology. She is currently a graduate student at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, Department of Dramaturgy. She has published two books of poetry: <em>Utroba<\/em> (Matica srpska, 2017) and <em>Dok \u010dekam da pro\u0111e<\/em> (City Library Karlo Bijelicki, 2018), as well as a poetic novel <em>Nemaju sve ku\u0107e dvori\u0161te<\/em> (PPM Enklava, 2020). She worked as a screenwriter on two TV series &#8211; <em>Grupa<\/em> (produced by Vision Team, broadcast on RTS in the fall of 2019) and <em>Mama i tata se igraju rada<\/em> (Kombajn film and This and That Production, broadcast on RTS in October 2020). She is a co-writer of the short fiction film <em>Onaj koji donosi ki\u0161u<\/em>, directed by Isidora Veselinovi\u0107 and she also adapted the drama <em>Paviljoni<\/em> (Milena Markovi\u0107) for a feature film, which was broadcast on RTS in 2018, directed by Dragan Nikoli\u0107. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, the Department of Serbian Language and Literature. She is the author of three collections of poetry: <em>Plavo u boji<\/em> (\u0160kart, Belgrade, 2012), <em>Sve drve\u0107e, sva deca i svi bicikli u meni<\/em> (LOM, Belgrade, 2017) and <em>Dani punog meseca<\/em> (LOM, Belgrade , 2020.) Her poems have been translated to English, German, Dutch, Slovenian, Albanian, Polish and Hungarian. In 2017, she won the BeFem Award for special artistic contribution for the anthology <em>Ovo nije dom<\/em>. She is the co-owner of the Novi Sad bookstore Bulevar Books and the coordinator of the literary festival <em>Sofa<\/em>.
