{"id":16897,"date":"2021-11-08T13:35:30","date_gmt":"2021-11-08T13:35:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/?p=16897"},"modified":"2021-11-08T13:35:32","modified_gmt":"2021-11-08T13:35:32","slug":"histoire-pour-la-liberte-defend-history-lecture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/2021\/11\/histoire-pour-la-liberte-defend-history-lecture\/","title":{"rendered":"HISTOIRE POUR LA LIBERT\u00c9 \u2013 &#8220;DEFEND HISTORY&#8221; LECTURE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>On Tuesday, November 16 at 4 pm in the Student Club of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade (Klub studenata Filozofskog fakulteta) and via live stream, a lecture entitled <em>Defend History<\/em> will be held as the last activity of the project <em>Histoire pour la Libert\u00e9.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By marking events in recent European history, such as the reunification of Germany and the democratic transition of Central and Eastern Europe, but also by correlating them to the breakup of the SFRY, the project aims to stimulate debate and reflection on a common culture of remembrance, peace and tolerance, and exchange of experiences and perspectives, in order to further emphasize the dynamic character of European memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After successful conferences held at Humboldt University in Berlin, as well as within Kilofest in Zagreb, History Fest in Sarajevo and KROKODIL festival in Belgrade, the discussion on the importance of multiperspective historiography and participatory culture of remembrance will be continued through the lecture <em>Defend History.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants in the lecture will be: <strong>Thomas Schad<\/strong> (Germany), <strong>Damir Agi\u010di\u0107 <\/strong>(Croatia), <strong>Husnija Kamberovi\u0107<\/strong> (Bosnia and Herzegovina), <strong>Dubravka Stojanovi\u0107<\/strong> and <strong>Milivoj Be\u0161lin <\/strong>(Serbia). The event is being realized in partnership with the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.
