Congratulations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vi\u0161nja Begovi\u0107 <\/strong>(Belgrade, 1995) earned her BM in Vocal Performance\u00a0from Berklee College of Music in Boston,\u00a0and her MA in Arts Administration from Baruch College in New York City. He lectures in theoretical and Balkan linguistics at the University of Belgrade, while also actively translating from the languages he does research into and critically writing about the process. He has translated at least one piece from each genre of contemporary literature from Albanian \u2013 novels, short stories, poetry, essays and drama. His most recent translations are an autobiographical Bildungsroman &#8220;1997&#8221; by the Albanian-Canadian journalist and activist Kristi Pinderi (Belgrade: Rebel Readers, 2023) and a thematically related short stories collection from across the border, &#8220;Night bus&#8221; by the Macedonian author Stefan Alijevikj (Novi Sad: Kulturanova, 2023), which is included in the current &#8220;\u0160tefica Cvek&#8221; literary selection.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"558\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/photo-558x650.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18572\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/photo-558x650.jpg 558w, https:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/photo-257x300.jpg 257w, https:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/photo-768x895.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/photo-700x816.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.krokodil.rs\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/photo.jpg 881w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 558px) 100vw, 558px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>ULYSSES\u2019 SHELTER: BUILDING LITERARY RESIDENCIES NETWORK is the third stage of a project co-funded by the European Union under the Creative Europe programme 2021-2027. The network of literary residencies has now been extended to eight European countries: Czech Republic, Croatia, Greece, Malta, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain and Wales in the United Kingdom, and collaborates with many institutions and NGOs in each participating country.<\/em><br><em>The residency programme addresses the international dimension as its priority by giving emerging authors the opportunity to work, perform and present themselves in different European locations.
