Both will perform on the festival\u2019s opening night, Friday, June 21st at 8 PM, on the main stage in front of the Museum of Yugoslavia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both Faruk and Marko are essentially poets, although both \u2013 Faruk regularly and Marko occasionally \u2013 write and publish prose. However, in all their works, regardless of stylistic distinctions, an undeniably poetic sensibility and worldview prevail. From \u0160ehi\u0107\u2019s sensitive imagination and ability to make the ordinary extraordinary to Toma\u0161\u2019s striking and disarming honesty and his tendency to dig deep into his own soul, their work encapsulates everything art can offer us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the main KROKODIL stage, they will, along with a brief conversation with the hosts, read from their latest books: \u0160ehi\u0107\u2019s recently published novel <em>Cimetna pisma, dijamantna stvorenja<\/em> (<em>Cinnamon Letters, Diamond Creatures<\/em>) and Toma\u0161\u2019s <em>Knjiga za Maju<\/em> (<em>Book for Maja<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-black-background-color has-text-color has-background\"><strong>Tickets for the evening programs can be purchased through the GIGS TIX network <a>here<\/a>, as well as directly at the KROKODIL Center on weekdays from 12 to 8 PM and at the festival ticket office one hour before the start of the program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two significant contemporary regional writers, both from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marko Toma\u0161 and Faruk \u0160ehi\u0107, will be participating in this year\u2019s KROKODIL Festival.
