At the very beginning, Milena Beri\u0107, KROKODIL\u2019s Executive Director, welcomed the audience and introduced Simon. In his opening remarks, Stranger shared exciting news \u2013 his book will soon be published in Serbia!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the introduction, an audio-visual presentation took place, through which Stranger offered insights into his literary work and his most renowned novel, <em>The Encyclopedia of Light and Darkness<\/em>. The audience listened intently to the deeply moving story of Simon\u2019s family and the themes of the Holocaust and anti-Semitism, which are central to this award-winning novel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the presentation, a conversation with Stranger was moderated by Marko Mari\u0107. Together, they explored Simon&#8217;s literary themes, sources of inspiration, and his creative process.
