Dear friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to your quick, generous, and strong support, and the incredible response from so many of you, we were able to raise the funds needed to file an appeal with the Court of Appeals in Belgrade within the foreseen deadline – in just a matter of few days – giving Dmitry a real chance to stay free and safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, we raised an incredible 205,529 dinars<\/strong> for Dmitry\u2019s legal defense. And not only that – we met the deadline! But the fight isn\u2019t over yet. If the appeal is accepted – and there\u2019s a strong chance it will be – there will be a hearing before the Court of Appeals in Belgrade, where Dmitry will once again have the opportunity to present his defense in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This appeal was the result of an intense race against time. A team of legal experts and international law specialists worked around the clock to meet the legal deadline and give Dmitry a fair shot at justice. None of this would have been possible without their effort and dedication – and without you<\/em>. Your solidarity has proven that people can<\/em> stand stronger than the system. Every donation, every message, every share made a real difference in the fight against injustice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dmitry personally thanks you in a video message for standing by his side<\/strong>. We are also deeply grateful to all of you who donated and demonstrated what real solidarity looks like when someone\u2019s freedom, and life, is on the line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funds raised covered the full cost of submitting the appeal: 100,000 dinars as set by the extradition tariff, along with legal fees for our expert attorneys Sanja Radivojevi\u0107 and Vladica Ili\u0107, as well as translation and preparation costs for the required legal documents. In short, with your help, every expense in Dmitry\u2019s case so far has been fully covered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
