Building on the legacy of 1990s women’s activism during the Yugoslav Wars — challenging nationalist narratives and documenting war crimes — the projects aims to foster cross-border collaboration between Serbian and Ukrainian women’s and feminist organizations to enhance efforts tackling gender-based violence (GBV), promote women’s rights, and advance social justice in post-conflict settings.

Through joint online and offline networking sessions, the project seeks to strengthen responses to GBV and related issues, contributing to societal resilience and gender equality in both countries. It emphasizes a bottom-up approach, strengthening the capacity of civil society, sharing effective methodologies, and raising awareness about the importance of active, timely, and coordinated actions that create sustainable partnerships for long-term collaboration, advocacy and social change.

The program offers:

A space for connection and exchange: online networking sessions (October 2025 – February 2026).

An in-person gathering: an invitation to a three-day fully paid forum at Palić Lake , where networks are strengthened, and new ideas are born.

Support and visibility: your voices, experiences, and recommendations will be included in a final trilingual publication and shared with the public in Serbia, Ukraine, and beyond.

Solidarity and alliance: an opportunity to build long-term cross-border partnerships and joint initiatives.

Want to join us?
