THANK YOU<\/strong> for showing what solidarity looks like in practice over the past few days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 372,596 dinars<\/strong> was collected \u2013 three times more than the amount of the misdemeanor fine for disturbing public order at the protest in Novi Sad. Thank you to Tamara,<\/strong> Jasna, Bojana, Ines, Dragan, Milan, Luka, and ninety-nine other good people<\/strong> who donated money to help Brajan Brkovi\u0107. Such a response shows that we are not, and you are not, alone; that we recognize injustice and do not consent to the exhaustion, intimidation, and systematic silencing of citizens. You have shown that a community can react to repression quickly, decisively, and humanely precisely when it matters most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We launched the campaign on Friday, and thanks to your quick reaction, trust, and solidarity, all the necessary funds to pay the fine were collected by Tuesday. Since a single individual donation from an anonymous person covered the entire required amount, we would like to redirect the remaining funds, as before, to the next SLAPP case requiring urgent support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We need your consent for this.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you do not wish for your donation to remain in the fund for the next case, please let us know via email at office@slappbackfund.com<\/a> with the text NO<\/strong> by tomorrow, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 5 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case you do not send us such an email by the deadline, we will consider your answer to be YES.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
