OPEN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM WITHIN THE CELA PROJECT

OPEN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM WITHIN THE CELA PROJECT

The first open educational program in translation from the Italian language within the CELA project will be held on Friday, May 29, starting at 2 pm at the KROKODIL Center for Contemporary Literature. Within the workshop, the participating students will be translating an excerpt from Gerico by Fabrizio Allione, one of the authors selected for this project, under the mentorship of translator Ana Popović (who is also one of the participants in the CELA project) and prof. Sasa Moderc from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade.

CELA (Connecting Emerging Literary Artists) is a four-year European collaboration project for talent development in which thirty prose writers and eighty translators from ten European countries have the opportunity to be part of the artist networking program, improve their skills and present their work to European audiences and the professional public.
