A group of eight publishing houses and the KROKODIL Association have jointly launched an initiative to purchase books in the Ukrainian language, which are primarily intended for the growing Ukrainian community in our country. The intention of this initiative is to help people who escaped the devastations of the war feel at least somewhat at home and that, despite all the circumstances, they can lead a normal life similar to the one they left behind.

The publishers participating in this noble initiative and in establishing of the first library in the Ukrainian language at KROKODIL Center are:

Blum

Booka

Finesa

Geopoetika

Heliks

Štrik

Treći trg

Urban Reads

About 400 books for children and adults were purchased from the distribution center that was established in Kyiv during the war precisely for the needs of the growing Ukrainian diaspora. At the beginning of March, the books were delivered to Serbia as part of the humanitarian campaign and the trip of KROKODIL’s team to Ukraine.
