“365 days” project in Belgrade, San Francisco, Berlin, Tbilisi, and London: rehearsed reading of three anti-war plays written in 2022

Friday, February 24th, 8 p.m.
KROKODIL Center, Karađorđeva 43

On February 24th at 8 p.m. a rehearsed reading of three anti-war plays will be held in KROKODIL Center. The plays that will be performed during the event are: “The Border” by Sergei Davydov, “Vanya is Alive” by Natalya Lizorkina, and “Aunt Klava, NATO, and the Pregnant Cow” by Alexandra Sokolova. These stories tell of a hard struggle, escape from reality and the helplessness of people trying to cope with this new reality and remain emotionally close to those who to some extent are absorbed by the system or are experiencing the tragedy from within.

The plays will be performed in Russian with English subtitles. At the end the audience will be able to take part in discussions: share their thoughts, feelings, emotions and reflections on what they have witnessed, prompting viewers to have a sincere conversation and open discourse.

We invite people to take a moment to reflect on the tragedy of the past year and appreciate the power of the written word to unite us.

The event is not commercial. The donations will be sent to humanitarian organization Golub Miru.
