Good night teta vera

Good night teta vera

Vera Arsenijević, the oldest member of the Board of Directors of the Association KROKODIL, passed away early Sunday morning at the age of 87.Vera Arsenijević was a professor of French language and literature and a lifelong translator. Her long-term contribution to the development of KROKODIL’s program scheme, especially when it comes to literary and translation projects, will remain irreplaceable. Critical thought and contribution to the living historical, political and social contextualization of circumstances in various stages of the former Yugoslavia and everything that followed its disintegration, but above all her vivid memory, gave KROKODIL loads of positive energy for the development of values we believe in and strive to nurture day in day out. The last greeting to our dear teta Vera is scheduled for Monday, March 14 at 11:15 am at Belgrade’s “Novo groblje” cemetary.
