LIST OF LOCAL INITIATIVES, CSOS, CITIZEN GROUPS, ASSOCIATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS THAT WILL BE SUPPORTED WITHIN THE SPACES OF RESILIENCE PROJECT: PROGRAM FOR STRENGTHENING LOCAL INITIATIVES

During the previous week, the commission on the Spaces of Resilience project: Program for Strengthening Local Initiatives reviewed a total of 35 complete applications from 17 different cities in Serbia that were submitted to the open call within this project. Due to the quality and potential of the candidates, 23 applications were chosen, although the project originally envisioned 20. All this only proves the recognition of the importance of the idea of involving the public and citizens in advocacy and decision-making processes, processes of democratization, the fight for human rights, influence on the creation of public policies, and the promotion of cultural diversity and regional cooperation.

The best project will receive financial support (a grant of EUR 5,000) from the European Fund for the Balkans.

We would like to thank everyone who expressed their interest in this program and especially to congratulate the chosen candidates. We look forward to future joint work in the areas of organizational development and advocacy, strengthening program capacity, development of communication skills and PR, as well as networking and advocacy capacities. We encourage everyone who was not selected to continue following our work, especially the website and social networks, where we regularly inform the public about all the projects and activities of the KROKODIL Association.
